Who: Anyone who has completed grades eight through 11
What: Enjoy Youth Day at the New York State Fair!
When: Thursday, August 29. We will be leaving The CanTeen around 9 a.m. and returning by 7 p.m. Participants must be picked up at The CanTeen by 7 p.m. A parent or guardian can provide a written note for their child to stay longer at the fair and get a ride home from there.
Forms: Field trip permission slip, medical release, and van permission slip. (No permission slips are accepted the day of field trip)
Fee: The cost of the trip is $5. Checks must be made out to Friends of The CanTeen. The fee includes transportation to and from the fair, entrance cost, and an all-day. ride pass.
Youth must bring money for food and spending at the fair. PB&J sandwiches will be available for youth to make at The CanTeen to take for lunch.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS CANCELED DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION
Participants who do not follow The CanTeen expectations will be dealt with immediately and he or she may be banned from future trips.
